Who We are
Fortescue in Norway aims to play a pivotal role in the green energy transition in Europe, replacing fossil fuels in sectors like long-distance transport, shipping, and aviation.
Our priority is to maximise opportunities for the local communities in Norway, through strengthening the green industry value chains and creating new jobs.

Our History
Established in 2003 in Western Australia, Fortescue is a globally recognized green technology, energy, and metals company with a market capitalization of approximately US$56 billion.
Leading the green industrial revolution, Fortescue specialises in developing cutting-edge technology solutions for hard-to-decarbonize industries and aims to achieve carbon zero by 2030.
The company is building a robust global portfolio of renewable energy projects, including a groundbreaking green ammonia production facility in Norway.

With Fortescue's Holmaneset project leading the way in large-scale production of green hydrogen and green ammonia, Norway and Svelgen have the potential to become global leaders in the green transition.
